Heartbreaking photos taken on the sidewalk of the Yangtze River Bridge in Wuhan, China, have gone viral as they show a loyal dog waiting for its owner to count days after jumping into the water to commit suicide.
The dog was discovered by Chinese resident Xu, who shared photos online hoping he would get a chance to adopt the dog, but it ran away.
Du Fan, president of the Wuhan Small Animal Protection Association, is currently looking for the dog with volunteers, hoping to find it as soon as possible. He also implored people to contact them if they saw the dog.
