3 Dogs Have Nowhere To Go After Owner Dies, Cry Outside His House For 18 Months

When Fred, Ricky, and Ethel's loving owner died unexpectedly, the dogs lost their home as well. Rather than being placed in a shelter, the trio was dumped on the street like garbage.

The dogs didn't know how to survive on their own, so they hung around the house for 18 months, waiting for their owner to return.

When the rescue group "Hope For Paws" learned of the dogs' plight, they jumped at the chance to help. When they arrived in the neighborhood, they were heartbroken to see the once spoiled dogs living on the streets like paupers.

Fred was desperately lurking around his old house. Because he didn't want to leave, he fought back against the rescuers. When he saw that the rescuers were there to save him, the poor thing eventually gave in.

Ricky and Ethel were later discovered nearby, dejectedly scavenging for food. They were also rescued after a long struggle! For the first time in over a year, the trio was taken to the shelter, where they were able to relax on a couch.

They've all been placed in foster care at this point. They clutch each other tightly, tears in their eyes, as they begin to hope for a better life once more.
