Fahrudin Caki Bravo, the founder of a small rescue group in Bosnia called Saving Stray Animals, spotted a poor little puppy by the side of the road while he was on his way to the shelter. He came to a halt to see what was wrong with the child. And even though he knew deep down that he was an abandoned puppy, his heart broke when he saw it up close.
The puppy felt terrified when he saw the rescuer approached. He tried to run away from him, but he couldn't because his hind legs were injured. Instead, he dragged the lower half of his body and hid behind a bush.
Determined to help, Caki followed the puppy he later on named Goldy. He attempted to console him and assure him that he meant no harm. And, despite the chaos that ensued, he was able to calm him down and carry him in his arms.
Instead of taking Goldy home, Caki decided to have him checked at the vet’s clinic first. He knew he had to be in pain, and he didn't want him to be in any more pain. He let him ride on his lap because he knew it made him feel safe and secure.
The vets examined Goldy and they revealed that his injuries were no less than 2 weeks old. They weren't sure what caused his physical trauma, but it was severe enough to paralyze him. His nerves were damaged and even his genitalia was badly affected.
Caki desired for Goldy to live a happy and normal life. Unfortunately, it was too late to save the puppy's legs because he did not receive the necessary medical care right away. But, aside from his disability, he was in perfect health, which is reason enough not to give up.
The rescuer did everything he could to help the puppy. He raised money for his medical bills and even built him a makeshift wheelchair. He raised him, and when he was ready, he found him his perfect match.
A month after his rescue, Goldy joined his new mom Jasmina Gerstner. He adored her the moment they met and he was so grateful that she welcomed him home.
Goldy deserve a second chance in his life. Now he adopted by a kind woman and live happy life forever!
Thanks all for your support, care and love to GOLDY!
