Dog Beaten By Owner & Put On Kill-List Sees A Kind Woman & Begs To Be Noticed

Rudy was saved from death two days before Christmas. He was neglected, beaten, sick and terrified. On top of that, Rudy was not doing great mentally and his chances of recovery weren’t very promising.

Because the shelter workers knew they couldn't afford Rudy's treatment, they made the heartbreaking decision to put him on the euthanasia list.

Rudy's luck changed when a kind woman walked into the shelter. Rudy looked so haunted in his kennel that the woman decided to become his foster mother right away.

While she did manage to get him removed from the kill-list, his survival was still a challenge.

Rudy's life was filled with painful vet visits and lots of love and care from his foster mom for the next few months.

He began venturing out into the backyard to mingle with his many foster siblings as he gradually gained the strength to stand on his own! Unfortunately, he was unable to play due to a broken hip.

By this point, the shelter had raised $6,300 for Rudy's hip replacement surgery by sharing his story on social media. Rudy's struggles touched people's hearts, and the money was put quickly!

Rudy is now an active and fun-loving dog as a result of his successful hip surgery. He'll spend the rest of his life with his wonderful foster mom and doggie siblings.

We wish this determined survivor every happiness in the world!
