Street Dog With Ruptured Eye Learns What It’s Like To Feel Loved

When Animal Help Unlimited in India learnt of an injured street pet in need of assistance, they immediately deployed rescuers to the scene.

Penny, an inept pet dog, was discovered by the rescuers after being engaged in an automobile accident. A pet's life on the streets is harsh, especially in India, where the stray population has quadrupled.

According to Humane Culture, India is home to over 30 million street dogs (and also has the highest rabies death rate in the world).

With so many dogs struggling for room, food, and life, getting hurt as a stray could end in severe pain and death. That is almost certainly what would have happened to Dime if Animal Aid Unlimited had not intervened.

When rescuers found Dime, they noticed she had an injured eye.

They hurried her to their hospital for a test, which indicated that the remainder of her face had been uninjured by the vehicle accident. Her eye, on the other hand, was irreparable and had to be removed.

Dime's future was on her mind, despite her averted eyes, and she appeared to be aware of it. After only one day in the rescue hospital, Penny began to relax and rely on the people around her. Her radiance was breaking through her veil!

Penny proceeded to grow into a beautiful, lively pet after completing surgical rehabilitation. "Love is seen with the heart, not the eyes," the saviour stated emphatically. Penny was saved from excruciating suffering thanks to the medical procedure. Her vision is hazy, yet love can be seen within her heart."

Dime is now a happy, energised dog with plenty of love to give! Her entire life has been completely revolutionised, and she will never have to live on the streets again.
