This story is about Rudy, an abused pit bull who was discovered in terrible shape after being placed in a plastic bucket. The dog, whose skin was scarred with severe wounds caused by being burned with cigarettes and battery acid, had almost no fur when he arrived at a shelter in New York in November.
He has Cushings Disease, and if it is not treated, his front leg will be severely fractured, making walking impossible for him.
The shelter called (SNARR) Special Needs Animal Rescue Rehabilitation in the Northeast in the hopes that they could assist the dog.
SNARR's director, Courtney Bellew, has extensive experience saving animals like Rudy, who was seriously injured. She was heartbroken when she saw Rudy and did not picture his leg because it was in horrible shape.
They shared on Facebook that Rudy, who was overjoyed to be rescued, surprisingly survived! The medicated baths were the most crucial factor in Rudy's healing.
Rudy's medicated bath video was shared online and quickly went viral. Fortunately, he was fostered by a veterinarian couple who have a beautiful farm in New England where Rudy can heal faster because he is surrounded by numerous animals, including a lamb, cats, and dogs, as well as the family children. What a satisfying conclusion! View the video below.
