The Dog Is Still Waiting By The Empty Hospital Bed Without Knowing The Owner Has Passed Away

A touching image of a dog waiting for his owner next to an empty hospital bed demonstrated yet again why dogs are among the most loving creatures on the planet. A photograph of the heinous act instantly went viral on social media.

Moose, a three-year-old Labrador mix, was going to be put down because the shelter was full and no one wanted to adopt him. Moose, fortunately, got a new home after being adopted by Eleventh Hour Rescue in Randolph, New Jersey.

The bereaved puppy had finally found a home, but his father passed away from cancer a year later. Moose, on the other hand, had no idea his father had passed away; all he knew was that he had to wait. He knows his beloved human will never return, yet he still believes in miracles.

Eleventh Hour Rescue volunteers moved quickly to get Moose inside their safe sanctuary. Everyone at the shelter adored Moose, and they worked tirelessly to find him a home as soon as possible.

Eleventh Hour Rescue's policy, according to Linda Barish, a member of the executive committee, is "that we take the dogs back regardless of when the owner passes away." We had no notion something like this would happen in a million years.

Moose's narrative and photo were posted online by NorthStar Pet Rescue and Eleventh Hour Rescue in an attempt to find a nearby foster or adoptive family. In response to the image, thousands of comments have been made online.

Eleventh Hour Rescue said on Facebook that Moose, who was unaware that "Dad" had passed away, was peacefully waiting for him to return to his father's hospital bed.

When the image went viral, they were overwhelmed with demands to adopt Moose. According to Eleventh Hour Rescue, Moose was adopted by his new, forever family three days later.

The impact of social media has resulted in Moose finding his ultimate home. To learn more about what happened to Moose, watch the video below.

Dogs have emotions, and the charming image of Moose suggests that they may be more empathetic than humans. Please notify your loved ones about this tragic occurrence!
