Isumu was a dog that had never known love. He'd been abandoned near a shelter, left on the side of the road to fend for himself.

From the shackles that had previously held him, he had a broad stripe and blood around his neck, and his long nails caused him anguish with every step he took. His body was riddled with rabies wounds, and he reeked of rotten meat.

Despite his suffering, Isumu's eyes still held a spark of life, and he had the ability to feel fear, humility, and hope. He begged God to intervene and save him from his anguish.

A volunteer discovered him in the shelter. He took Isumu to the shelter, where he received medical attention and a cosy bed to sleep on. Isumu has been bathed and cleaned of his wounds. He was given food and drink, and he felt cared for and loved for the first time in a long time.

Isumu began to recuperate on day ten. His wounds began to heal, and his fur began to regrow. He no longer smelled like decaying meat, and his eyes began to light up with joy and satisfaction.

Day 80: Finally, a friendly family who wished to adopt a dog arrived at the shelter. They fell in love with Isumu the moment they saw him.

They could sense the strength and perseverance hidden beneath his gruff exterior, and they knew he was the dog for them. Isumu's new family took him home, showering him with love and devotion.

He no longer had to suffer in silence or hope for someone to come and save him. He had finally found a place to live and a family who loved him unconditionally.
